Strategic Procurement Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, with a strong understanding of strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.

About the Role

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for mining operations.

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Supervise the procurement team in issuing purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  3. A strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, including contract law and risk management.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the mining tools or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and logistics.
