Crew Sourcing Specialist - We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our maritime recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in crew sourcing and possess an extensive database of qualified seafarers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand a comprehensive database of seafarers for various vessel types, including tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, offshore, and passenger vessels.
  • Source qualified crew for urgent and planned vessel deployments using diverse sourcing methods, including industry networks, social media, and recruitment platforms.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates' qualifications, certifications, and compliance with international maritime standards (MLC, STCW).
  • Collaborate closely with vessel management and HR to ensure timely and cost-effective crew placement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and maritime industry contacts to continuously grow the talent pool.
  • Monitor industry trends to anticipate hiring needs and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maritime crew sourcing or recruitment with a strong network database of seafarers.
  • In-depth knowledge of maritime certification, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a global maritime workforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sourcing for a wide variety of vessel types.
  • Familiarity with crewing logistics and international recruitment challenges.
  • Relevant certifications in recruitment or maritime crewing are an advantage.
