The Sales Representative is responsible for managing sales within their defined regional territory, achieving sales revenue through generating orders and representing the organisation in accordance with its policies.
A Day in the Life
· Achievement of volume objectives and key product objectives for both primary and secondary numbers.
· Ensuring right productivity and growth objectives for the accounts.
· Successful launch of new products by right execution and implementation in the area.
· Ensuring periodic validation and maintenance of customer/account data of the Territory.
· Maintaining core customer relationships to ensure continuation of business.
· Promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
· Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximise the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
· Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services.
· Conducting market research including customers and competitors' activities.
· Implementing market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
· Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
· Ensuring effective distribution by proper dealer management, operations, strategies, and inputs, also ensuring that channel compliance towards Medtronic policies are completely adhered.
· Referring the right talent from the field to have proper vacancy management.
Must Have – Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science
· MBA in Sales and Marketing
· Minimum 1-3 years' sales experience in Concept Selling
· Experience of Distribution Management
· Willing to travel extensively

· Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.
· Strong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences, etc.
· Ability to prioritise and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges.
· Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to develop region-specific plans, strategies, and tactics.
· Strong leadership and vision, assertive, and can collaborate with various stakeholders within the organisation.
· Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results.
