Treasury Manager

Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing Treasury and Cash Management operations, ensuring optimal liquidity and funding strategies. It also requires managing Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling margin calls and monitoring short-term liquidity of funds;
  • Understanding the various margining methodologies of several agreements in a portfolio and tracking the internal view of margin;
  • Implementing end-to-end solutions for margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information;
  • Onboarding new clients, gathering requirements, and showcasing capabilities;
  • Managing stakeholders' expectations by identifying their needs, articulating the scope of the offering, escalating issues in a timely manner, and bringing about changes through persuasion;
  • Enhancing knowledge on the complete Client platform/industry, not restricted to current area of expertise;
  • Performing activities such as data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation within the Client platform as part of client implementation;
  • Collaborating with technology teams on special projects, developing bespoke reports, developing specifications, product implementation, and UAT;
  • Maintaining oversight of Treasury and Cash Management operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies;
  • Managing Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities;
  • Responding promptly to Margin Calls in an accurate manner;
  • SUPPORTING AND COORDINATING Securities Lending transactions to maximize asset utilization.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working in the Treasury coupled with in-depth domain/finance knowledge;
  • Knowledge of collateral management and financing agreements, as well as margin methodologies;
  • Experience in securities lending and borrowing, as well as optimization of portfolio financing;
  • Familiarity with data sources such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit, etc., for Treasury-related attributes;
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of Margin Calls and Security Lending;
  • Understanding of Treasury/Cash Management and Collateral and Liquidity Management;
  • A proven track record of handling projects and improving processes;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude;
  • Effective oral/written communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel;
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python will be a significant plus.
