Job Overview

This is a senior technical leadership role focused on the oversight of solar power project design, execution, and commissioning. The successful candidate will lead a team of technical professionals to ensure high-quality delivery, safety, and efficiency standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the technical team across various stages of solar PV systems, from installation to service operations.
  • Execute site surveys and ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversight of project planning, technical feasibility, system sizing, and preparation of BOQs (bills of quantities).
  • Ensure smooth execution of EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) projects, monitoring timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Provide technical support in pre-sales and business development, including site surveys and technical proposals.
  • Lead vendor management and selection of components in line with approved supplier lists.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and implementation of best practices in solar engineering.
  • Maintain coordination with technical teams for project approvals, audits, and escalations.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, statutory requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in solar EPC and renewable energy sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV module technology, inverters, BOS, SCADA monitoring systems, and storage solutions.
  • Proven expertise in handling medium to large-scale and ground-mounted solar projects.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, grid regulations, and statutory compliances.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
