Job Profile: Electrical Substation Project Lead
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Substation Project Lead to oversee the successful execution of our electrical substation construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of electrical substation construction projects.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion within defined budget and quality standards.
- Manage project teams including engineers, contractors, and site staff.
- Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and consultants for timely availability of materials and services.
- Maintain close interaction with clients, consultants, and government authorities for approvals, inspections, and reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, statutory, and regulatory norms at the project site.
- Track project milestones, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Manage risks, resolve site-level issues, and take corrective measures to ensure project continuity.
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of electrical substation construction, transmission line works, and related standards.
- Proven experience in project planning, execution, and resource management.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, Hindi, and regional language.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office applications.
- Previously worked on 220kv to 400kv substations.
