Job Profile: Project Manager – Electrical Substation Construction

For a leading EPC Contractor Company in South India, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of electrical substation and transmission line construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and proven experience in executing large-scale power infrastructure projects.

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion within defined budget and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage project teams including engineers, contractors, and site staff.
  • Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and consultants for timely availability of materials and services.
  • Maintain close interaction with clients, consultants, and government authorities for approvals, inspections, and reporting.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, statutory, and regulatory norms at the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track project milestones, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
  • Manage risks, resolve site-level issues, and take corrective measures to ensure project continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in electrical substation and transmission line projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects successfully.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
