Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Design Manager to lead our design and site delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our network of partners and their teams across sales and design processes, as well as operational communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the sales funnel and achieve higher conversion rates
  • Manage the design of 12-15 projects per month, ensuring timely completion and quality output
  • Oversee the work output of partner and team for 5 stores, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct technical interviews to assist in hiring decisions
  • Train designers to achieve predictable sales and design output, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships and experiences through effective communication and project management
  • Collaborate with category teams and cross-functional teams to gather market feedback and inform design decisions
  • Lead the design and site delivery team, guiding coordination with vendors and business partners through project completion

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputable institution, with a post-graduation degree in Project Management/Construction Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the building construction industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Knowledge of individual trades and subcontractors relevant to interior fit-outs
  • Tech-savvy professional with experience in adopting digital and technology initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently, making sound decisions when necessary
