This role focuses on services, functional testing, and automation, covering key capability gaps and shaping them into a clear, prioritised programme with an agreed scope and agenda.

The selected candidate will be a role model technology expert in the Automation space, responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the team, as well as tech guidelines, best practices, and reference implementations for existing and new automation assignments.

Our technology engineering testing team is evolving at a fast pace to cater to strategic technology drivers and meet end customer experience demands. Experienced technologists drive this space with dedicated energy, passion, and inspiration, delivering quality solutions at a faster pace.

  • Expert level experience in Core Java and J2EE development.
  • Experience designing test automation frameworks for service layers/APIs (SoapUI knowledge).
  • Expertise in at least one functional test automation tool like Selenium or Test Complete.
  • Relevant experience in application development tools and frameworks like Maven, Check Style, JUnit, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Experience working with Oracle (preferably Oracle 10G), queries.
  • Experience using source code management tools, e.g., GitHub.
  • Rich experience around engineering skills, CI/CD, and build/deployment automation tools.
  • Working experience in unit/comment testing.
  • Good soft skills.
