Our organization is seeking a seasoned Software Automation Specialist to collaborate on the development and implementation of automated tests for microservices and APIs.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in software testing and automation, with strong core Java programming skills and hands-on experience in API automation tools like Rest Assured.

A good understanding of backend API flows integrated with UI and Database is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient automated test frameworks for microservices and APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers to enhance their skillset and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in software testing and automation
  • Strong foundation in core Java programming with expertise in advanced concepts
  • Hands-on experience with API automation tools like Rest Assured and other relevant technologies
  • Excellent understanding of backend API flows integrated with UI and Database
  • Experience working with microservices and APIs is highly valued, with a proven track record of success
