Identity Automation Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Identity Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions for identity lifecycle management using Python and modern IAM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions for identity lifecycle management
  • Lead technical integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions
  • Architect and maintain identity synchronization workflows across multiple platforms and directories
  • Develop self-service tools and automated processes to streamline access management
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code for identity-related AWS resources
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and automate identity governance controls
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in identity automation

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Okta administration and API development
  • Demonstrated experience with identity provider (IdP) integration and federation
  • Advanced Python programming skills with a focus on automation
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly IAM, Directory Service, and related security services
  • Track record of successfully managing identity integration during M&A activities
  • Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and related authentication protocols
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • TypeScript/JavaScript development experience
  • Experience with additional identity providers (Azure AD)
  • Relevant certifications (Okta, AWS)
  • Experience with SCIM provisioning and automation
  • Knowledge of and experience with privileged access management (PAM) solutions
