Club Operations Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the execution of club events, workshops, speaker sessions, and client visits.
  • Develop an annual activity calendar and track progress.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a point of contact between the club, property owners, external partners, vendors, and members.
  • Minutes of meetings, follow-ups on points agreed, and execution of the same.

Team Management:

  • Delegate, monitor, and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of the team.
  • Ensure all staff consistently comply with uniform policies by wearing designated attire while on duty.
  • Manage disciplinary actions involving all Club level employees.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing club budgets, sponsorships, and resource allocation for events.
  • Coordinate with management for necessary approvals or procurement.

Membership Engagement:

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members.
  • Promptly address concerns, complaints, or suggestions, turning potential issues into opportunities to strengthen member relationships and improve club services.
  • Foster a culture of attentiveness and responsiveness among staff to ensure every member's interaction reflects the club's values and commitment to excellence.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Ensure the fitness club operates in full compliance with local, state, and industry health regulations, including sanitation standards and emergency protocols.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures across all areas – workout zones, locker rooms, and group class studios – to minimize risk and protect members and staff.
  • Oversee maintenance needs and coordinate with staff training in CPR/First Aid, ensuring readiness for any emergency situation and fostering a secure and professional environment at all times.

Program and Event Planning:

  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee engaging fitness programs, wellness challenges, workshops, and social events catering to diverse member interests and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with instructors, personal trainers, and wellness professionals to design and implement innovative offerings enhancing the member experience, boosting participation, and supporting overall club engagement.
  • Monitor attendance and feedback to refine programming, ensuring events remain fresh, impactful, and aligned with the club's vision and member expectations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain documentation of all club activities for audit, continuity, and institutional reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
