Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for the growth and upkeep of field and network operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving procurement and technical planning of TGN and submarine cables, while effecting cost savings.

This role requires effective problem-solving skills to correct mission-critical utility infrastructure problems at optimal costs and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will also ensure necessary co-ordination on certification and field-level testing, as appropriate for the business segment.

They will coordinate with technical teams for new enhancements/issue resolution and drive initiatives for industrialization, efficiencies, and improvements to facilities.

Additionally, they will establish tools and procedures to monitor field operations performance, ensure reliability and robustness of cable systems, and manage capacity distribution and traffic activation.

This role also involves providing manpower technical resource support for internal customers during project implementation and delivery.

Key responsibilities include maintaining critical power and environment quality standards, tracking and monitoring environment performance, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory stipulations within the region.

The successful candidate will also represent interests of the organization in cable consortiums (IMEWE, SEAMEWE etc.) and lead, drive, and monitor all maintenance and cost savings activities related to facilities.
