Job Title:

Personnel Manager

Main Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Guarantee precise and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including adherence to statutory deductions (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
    • Perform regular audits to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Hiring & Workforce Management:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for blue-collar workers and white-collars
    • Maintain effective relationships with labor contractors and agencies.
    • Ensure a robust pipeline of manpower to meet production requirements.
  • Labor Law Compliance:
    • Guarantee compliance with all labor laws and statutory regulations, including the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, and others.
    • Maintain and update statutory registers and records as per requirements.
    • Assist in handling inspections and social audits effectively.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns promptly.
    • Conduct disciplinary proceedings as needed while maintaining fairness and transparency.
    • Promote engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
  • Training and Development:
    • Determine training needs and organize skill development programs for blue-collar employees.
    • Facilitate leadership and technical training for supervisors and team leads.
  • HR Policies and Processes:
    • Establish, implement, and monitor HR policies and processes specific to plant operations.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate HR guidelines and align plant HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
    • Facilitate collaboration between HR, production, and management teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present HR reports
    • Analyze data to drive continuous improvement in HR operations
Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience: 8+ years in HR, in a manufacturing environment with over 1,000 manpower.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRMS.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and team management capabilities
