Software Quality Assurance Engineer Role

Job Summary:

Luxoft is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software products using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring that testing aligns with business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress.
  • Perform thorough manual testing as needed, documenting results according to industry standards.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new software products and services.
  • Create technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Good coding skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with a defect tracking system, such as Gitlab or Jira.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level English language proficiency, including writing skills and fluent speech.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
