Quality Assurance Professional Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

The role involves designing, implementing, and executing test plans for web and mobile applications. This includes performing functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure product quality. Collaboration with developers to understand application features and design appropriate test strategies is also essential.

An effective Quality Assurance Engineer must be able to identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues. Additionally, they should develop automated test scripts for regression and performance testing and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

To excel in this position, applicants should possess a strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes and tools. Experience with test automation tools and bug tracking tools is highly valued. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, is required.
