Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development life cycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the highest level of quality in our software products.
- Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Rest Assured, Selenium, and other relevant tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex software issues to resolve defects efficiently.
- Providing expert guidance and training to junior engineers on testing methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on API testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in test automation using Rest Assured, Selenium, and Java.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bonus Points:
A strong understanding of Playwright for UI testing is considered an added advantage.
