Network Operations Manager

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for leading the Network Operations team in delivering high-quality network services to support the business. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing complex networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Network Operations team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of network services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve service outages and optimize network operations.
  • Manage the network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configuration changes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in network management, with at least 4 years in a senior technical or leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of networking technologies, hardware, routing, switching, and telecommunications circuits.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make calculated decisions.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities and act quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in network monitoring systems and service management metrics tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 1-3 switching.
