Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape, including mission-critical systems supporting enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations using advanced techniques.
  • Optimize database performance using automated tools and expert-level tuning techniques.
  • Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Implement robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and third-party tools.
  • Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages and DevOps tools.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis team to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation.
  • Experience in both on-prem and cloud-based Oracle DB setups.
