Job Title: Cloud Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Architect to lead our database strategy and implementation on MS SQL and Oracle environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure database solutions on cloud platforms, including AWS RDS, EC2, and S3.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database architecture for MS SQL and Oracle on Cloud, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Lead client workshops to gather requirements, design solutions, and define database architecture for Oracle and MS SQL on Cloud.
  • Maintain and optimize database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.), ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, database management systems, and software development lifecycle methodologies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Skill Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, etc.) and MS SQL/Oracle databases.
  • Expertise in database design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
