Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and configure containerization technologies such as Docker, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement security policies, ensure compliance with organizational standards, perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, manage access controls and authentication mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve platform-related issues, and provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud environments, implement best practices for resource allocation and management, conduct capacity planning and scaling of cloud systems.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a strong focus on cloud computing and containerization.
  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
