Job Title: Strategic Risk Professional

The role involves developing, implementing and reviewing credit risk models and frameworks in an unsecured lending context. This includes creating and maintaining credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, such as acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell and collections.

  • Analyze portfolio performance on a periodic basis to identify early warning signals and track trends ensuring that the portfolio quality meets the accepted risk parameters.
  • Ensure risk policies are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changing market conditions and internal risk appetite.
  • Prepare and analyze industry data to create management information systems (MIS) and dashboards to inform senior management about market trends.
  • Review processes to ensure adherence to risk policies and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain credit risk models and frameworks.
  2. Implement and monitor credit risk strategies.
  3. Analyze portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Ensure risk policies are up-to-date and effective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a non-banking financial company (NBFC), fintech or lending environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and ability to draw insights.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical models.
