Enterprise Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all operational activities in the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring that our organization is equipped to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Prepare and implement an effective Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, incorporating best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement robust internal control systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Risk Registers (RCSA), providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular reviews of current business processes, identifying control gaps and deficiencies; develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Ensure that the Enterprise Risk Policy reflects best practice, accommodating changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, developing action plans to address gaps in mitigating measures.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees, highlighting critical risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CBCP are highly valued.

Experience:

  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of implementing effective risk management frameworks and driving business growth through strategic risk mitigation.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Exchange ecosystem and operations, with the ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.

Functional Competencies:

  • Principles of risk management, including risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of risk and governance standards, including COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
