Amazon Inventory Automation Program Manager

A Senior Program Manager role is available in the Seller Inventory Management Services team at Amazon. This position plays a crucial part in driving innovation and setting up processes to execute inventory management and automation for Premium 3P sellers on Amazon.in Marketplace.
About the RoleThis role requires a dynamic, organized, and self-driven Program Manager who can work closely with various internal stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives. You will own Automation metrics of P3P sellers, work with cross-functional teams to deliver operational performance, and drive system/process improvements. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring sellers' inventory automation performance aligns with entitlement requirements
- Identifying and articulating strategic importance of metrics for managing tradeoffs and improving customer experience
- Collaborating with stakeholder teams to reduce cost, lead time, and waste across inventory management workstreams
- Defining, prioritizing, and monitoring project execution to achieve targets and ensure timely delivery
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and be able to influence distributed teams effectively. They should also be highly motivated, curious, and possess deep dive bias.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving adoption of existing systems to improve automation among sellers
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, dashboards, and modes of execution to solve complex problems related to inventory management
You will also be working closely with category leaders, planning and forecasting managers, operations teams, and technology teams to develop strategy and make decisions.
About the TeamThe Seller Inventory Management Services (SIMS) team comprises three verticals: Centre of Retail Excellence (CoRE), Business Ops Excellence (BOX), and Vendor Experience (VX). This role is specifically for the CoRE vertical, which drives inventory automation with P3P sellers.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of cross-functional experience working with tech and non-tech teams
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Delivering cross-functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
A Master's degree or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field is preferred.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this role is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. The actual compensation package may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
