Job Overview

The Technical Delivery Director is a senior role that oversees the successful delivery of complex technology projects. This position combines technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, leveraging a strong background in software development to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop low-level technical designs.

  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor team members, fostering a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration. Encourage professional development through training and knowledge sharing.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 15-20 years of experience in technology delivery roles, with a strong track record of managing large-scale projects and teams.
  • Development Background: Significant experience in software development, including hands-on coding experience in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, .NET).
  • Project Management Skills: Strong skills in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (JIRA, Trello).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
