As a Plant HR and IR Strategist, you will be responsible for driving HR and IR strategies, policies, and initiatives to support business plans. This includes:

Plant HR & IR Strategy

  • Developing and implementing HR and IR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Creating policies and procedures that support employee engagement, productivity, and industrial relations.
  • Collaborating with plant department heads to ensure alignment of HR and IR strategies with business plans.

Talent Management

  • Developing and driving plans for employee growth, talent reviews, succession planning, and capability development in collaboration with COE teams.
  • Conducting regular talent reviews and succession planning to ensure the pipeline of future leaders.

Culture & Engagement

  • Collaborating with the CHRO and Plant Head to develop and review strategies for maintaining a desired culture and value system.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to increase productivity and build high employee engagement.

Industrial Relations

  • Developing the IR strategy in conjunction with the Plant Head and CHRO.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding industrial relations.

Recruitment & Selection

  • Concluding talent acquisition plans in line with industrial engineering studies and approved organizational structures.
  • Validating manpower requisitions and engaging with TA and TM COE teams to determine skill sets and sourcing methods.

Compliance

  • Ensuring the hiring of workmen as per the CLRA Act and trainees as per the Apprenticeship Act.
  • Adhering to the plant's manpower ceiling.

Onboarding

  • Facilitating a smooth joining experience and supervising the handholding of new hires.
