Senior Vehicle Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicle body systems.

The ideal candidate will have rich experience in vehicle system design, development, and integration, with a strong focus on functional safety, performance, and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and manage system and subsystem requirements, as well as develop and implement system-level architecture designs.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders through system development from concept to launch, including design reviews and change management. Your analytical skills and experience with model-based design, simulation toolsets, and hardware-in-the-loop testing will enable you to drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering processes.

As a Senior Vehicle Systems Architect, you will be an integral part of our CFTs and work closely with hardware and applications teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our vehicle systems. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our tool landscape, including JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, GitHub, and JFROG.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and manage the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicle body systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage system and subsystem requirements.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our tool landscape.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through system development from concept to launch.
Requirements:
  • Rich experience in vehicle system design, development, and integration.
  • Strong focus on functional safety, performance, and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with model-based design, simulation toolsets, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols.
  • Experience with toolsets such as CANalyzer and CANoe.
  • Knowledge of vehicle network tools and architectures.
