Job Title: Cloud Architect for Distributed Systems">

As a cloud architect for distributed systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure to support our high-availability services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distributed system architecture using Apache Ray and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain deployment scripts and automation tools to streamline the deployment process.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML tuning and inference endpoints on Ray.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure visibility into system performance and behavior.
  • Participate in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises to ensure the reliability of our services.
  • Work with partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management, to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed system architectures.
  • Deep understanding of Apache Ray and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or Go.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
