Supply Chain Operations Manager

A highly skilled supply chain professional is sought after to lead and manage the operations of a pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process improvement, cost control, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Process Optimization & Compliance
  • Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) and internal standards to ensure operational procedures meet regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement (CI) & Project Management
  • Identify and execute CI projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization in procurement, logistics, and warehousing, reducing overall SCM costs.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze and report on core supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, on-time-in-full (OTIF), inventory turns, and supplier performance.
  • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Support procurement of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and packaging materials, ensuring quality compliance and supplier performance.
  • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and timely material availability at the site.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with quality assurance, quality control, production, and planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Operations or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Strong command of MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
