Job Title: Supply Chain Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our supply chain operations and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, logistics, and inventory management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning material availability with production plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring daily and weekly production schedules.

The role also involves ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables, as well as coordinating with vendors and tracking purchase orders.

Maintaining optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods is another key responsibility.

The Supply Chain Leader will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, manage warehouse operations, and ensure proper documentation and dispatch scheduling.

In addition, the role requires identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce logistics, inventory carrying, and procurement costs, driving process improvements, and tracking key SCM KPIs.

The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with company policies, EHS norms, and statutory regulations, conduct regular training and audits, and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing plant SCM team.

Requirements:
  • Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (MBA or PG in Supply Chain preferred)
  • 12-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management in a manufacturing setup
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, logistics, and warehousing practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
