
Life Insurance Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive life insurance sales through direct client engagement and field visits. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, experience in lead generation, and the ability to convert prospects into customers.

Key Responsibilities- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, reference networks, and market activities.
- Conduct customer meetings to understand financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance products.
- Explain policy details, benefits, and premium options to clients and resolve their queries.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with branch teams, operations, and underwriters to ensure smooth policy processing.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, roadshows, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Maintain timely records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM or reporting formats.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proven field sales experience (minimum 2 years) in life insurance, financial products, or similar sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Good understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and regulatory compliance.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and customer meetings.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reporting tools or CRM systems.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Graduation is mandatory).
- IRDAI certification preferred (can be obtained post-joining if not available).
- Candidates with prior experience in insurance sales, agency, or banca channels will be preferred.
- Fixed salary up to ₹7 LPA (based on experience and performance).
