Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA to lead our database development efforts.
  • This role involves designing, developing, testing, releasing, maintaining, and providing technical support for database development.
  • The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, coding skills to write complex SQL queries, views, and materialized views.
  • Candidates should also be skilled in PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL tuning, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently, are required.
  • A proven track record of working in an Agile environment, such as Scrum or XP, is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of database developers and participate in creating internal business specifications, technical designs, and workload estimations.
  • Implement new business features based on requirement specifications and technical designs.
  • Fix bugs in existing applications and refactor existing code to improve efficiency.
  • Develop scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, including data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
