Senior Oracle Database Strategist

The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle of Oracle databases across data centers and cloud platforms using AWS and Azure services. They will define and drive migration strategy, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful migrations with minimal downtime.

  • They must have 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • A strong background in Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning is required.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption. You must also have hands-on experience with Rubrik for backup, restore, and DR integration, RMAN for backup/recovery, delta sync, cloning, and duplication.

OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) for monitoring and migration validation is a must-have skill. Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible for IaC-based DB provisioning is also highly desirable.
