We are seeking a compassionate and experienced mental health professional to join our team as a Counselor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, providing emotional support and guidance to help them navigate academic and personal challenges.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health support on a rotational basis, ensuring timely and effective assistance to students.
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict ethical standards.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through our online portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels (along with Wellness Champions) to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with our team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory).
  • (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
  • Willing to stay on campus.
