We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The role involves providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams by troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting issues related to our software solutions.

The primary technologies used are Java and Python, with a strong focus on security technologies including PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).

This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers who are passionate about customer success, problem-solving, and working on secure software platforms.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to support tickets and technical inquiries from customers via email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Java and Python-based applications.
  • Investigating and assisting with cryptographic protocols, certificate validation, key management, and other PKI-related functions.
  • Reproducing customer-reported issues in internal environments and working with engineering teams for resolution.
  • Writing and maintaining support documentation, knowledge base articles, and diagnostic tools.
  • Escalating complex technical issues to senior support engineers or development teams as needed.

The required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
  • Proficient in Java and Python for debugging and scripting tasks.
  • Understanding of PKI concepts including X.509 certificates, SSL/TLS, digital signatures, and keystores.
  • Familiarity with tools such as keytool, openssl, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working with REST APIs, and tools like Postman.
  • Exposure to Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and security-first design.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Service Now, Jira.
