Bridge Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed BIM models for various bridge projects using advanced software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed BIM models for various bridge projects using advanced software tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of BIM deliverables.
  • Conduct clash detection and coordination efforts to identify and resolve potential issues before construction.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM technicians and other team members.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry standards to enhance project outcomes.
  • Ability to handle projects independently following the Quality process required.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with the project team and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree.
  • Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Sofistik, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Excellent understanding of structural design principles and bridge engineering practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
