Job Description

As a Senior BIM Technician, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed BIM models for various bridge projects using advanced software tools. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of BIM deliverables.

You will conduct clash detection and coordination efforts to identify and resolve potential issues before construction. Additionally, you will provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM technicians and other team members.

Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation. Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry standards to enhance project outcomes.

This role requires ability to handle projects independently following quality processes required. Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with the project team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed BIM models for bridge projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct clash detection and coordination efforts
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM technicians
  • Prepare and review project documentation
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree. Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Sofistik, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation
  • Excellent understanding of structural design principles and bridge engineering practices
