Senior BIM Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Technician specializing in bridge projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a thorough understanding of bridge design and construction processes.

This role is responsible for developing and managing detailed BIM models for various bridge projects using advanced software tools. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of BIM deliverables. Additionally, you will conduct clash detection and coordination efforts to identify and resolve potential issues before construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed BIM models for various bridge projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective BIM deliverables.
  • Conduct clash detection and coordination efforts.

You will also provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM technicians and other team members. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation and review of project documentation. It is essential to stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry standards to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Sofistik, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent understanding of structural design principles and bridge engineering practices.
