Bridge Design and Assessment Engineer

Undertake an assessment of existing bridges to identify potential enhancements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fulfill the role of Principal Bridge Designer, overseeing bridge strengthening and repair projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive bridge design reports detailing compliance with UK standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct rigorous design and assessment checks on bridges, ensuring adherence to WSP and industry best practices.
  • Directly oversee the work of junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with clients and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and seamless collaboration.
