Job Description:

The role of a BIM technician involves creating detailed models of bridges using advanced software tools. The individual will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of these models.

They will conduct clash detection and coordination efforts to identify and resolve potential issues before construction begins. Additionally, they will provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and participate in project meetings.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as is proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering or an equivalent field
  • Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects
  • Proficiency in BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Sofistik, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation
  • Excellent understanding of structural design principles and bridge engineering practices
