EHS Operations Specialist
Job Summary:
Our organization seeks an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our ETP plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining parameters, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe working practices in the plant.
- Maintain required process parameters and optimal equipment performance
- Trouble shooting activities and regular maintenance of plant equipment for efficient operations
- Ensure regular testing of ETP wastewater samples and maintain accurate records
- Regulate process operations for the efficient working of plant equipment
- Manage shift scheduling and manpower for continuous plant operations
- Maintain process records and data for reporting and compliance purposes
- Ensure statutory compliance and document management
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the smooth operation of the ETP cum STP plant
- Contribute to continual improvements of Environment and Occupational Health and Safety management systems
- Dispose of Hazardous Wastes as per the HW Rules 2016
- Analyze ETP samples (COD, BOD, TDS, TSS, O G, pH, MLSS, MLVSS)
- Support in ISO documentation and certification
- Participate in EHS-related activities and training programs
Requirements:
Applicants must possess relevant qualifications and experience in EHS operations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are also essential for this role.
