Job Summary:

This role oversees the environmental, health and safety function at a manufacturing site, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. It involves implementing an effective Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHMS) aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% compliance with EHS regulations, keep all relevant documentation up to date.
  • Develop and implement EHMS strategies, conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and job safety analysis across the facility.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses using root cause analysis tools.
  • Lead industrial hygiene programs, noise monitoring and employee health surveillance in coordination with Occupational Health Centre.
  • Drive initiatives for sustainable management of resources, monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture through site-wide campaigns.
