About the role:

This Deputy Lead position will be responsible for implementing an action-oriented annual plan and establishing relationships to secure revenue for our philanthropic efforts.

You will work closely with the India Leader and members of thematic teams to build a pipeline of support from individuals, foundations, corporates, and other funding sources.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, result-oriented, and have a proven track record of building and augmenting a national network of diverse donor support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a roadmap and strategy for our fundraising with clear objectives
  • Develop a national network of diverse supporters and donors
  • Build a portfolio approach to fund raising to ensure effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources
  • Execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enrichment and augmentation of fundraising opportunities and impact

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Business, Social Sciences, or another related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles
  • A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things done
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and executive presence
