Job Opportunity: Infrastructure Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Infrastructure Operations Specialist. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our infrastructure, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement infrastructure strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our systems.
  • Review and analyze existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate with vendors to procure software, hardware, and other IT supplies as approved by management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Interact with senior management and peers to gain acceptance on alternate approaches.
  • Manage outsourced teams for daily operations and activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Perform live DR activities and DR drills periodically.
  • Working knowledge of server, storage, database, operating systems, and network.
  • Production incident management and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for both on-premise data centers and cloud infra.
  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Planning and executing infra-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infra such as servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks.
  • Very good knowledge and exposure to cloud computing.
