Group Business Operations Director

The role involves leading a team of Group Operations professionals to manage new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business.
This is a key position within the Operations Department, focusing on Group New Business & Policy Servicing, to deliver exceptional customer services.
- Coordinate with Sales and Actuarial teams to close individual Group processes.
- Ensure issuance of policies and resolution of customer and intermediary queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain an efficient, effective, professional, and courteous service standard for intermediaries and customers.
- Implement and maintain quality and quantity controls to aid proactive management and problem anticipation.
- Supervise and train an effective team that meets the business needs of the organization as it grows.
- Coordinate with finance for reconciliation of policy account balances.
This role requires an MBA/ACII with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in customer Services or Operations Department. An Associate of Insurance Institute will be an added advantage.
Key skills include:
- Good experience of operations in the financial services industry.
- Experience within the Group Operation department of an Insurance company is essential.
- Experience in data processing to deliver operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills.
