Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

At Pine Labs, we're looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Deputy Manager-Reconciliation and Settlements. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing and supervising reconciliation and settlement activities to ensure an effective and efficient operating model is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all payments and transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are complied with.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Ensure operational risk is effectively managed and addressed in all aspects of the payments and settlement function.
  • Lead projects related to payments and reconciliation, ensuring timely completion, achievement of objectives, and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare regular Management Information (MI) and analysis for senior management for effective monitoring and control.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience: Preferably from International Payment Gateways, Fintech, Acquiring settlement, and Banks in merchant's settlement and reconciliation experience.
  • Years of work experience: Minimum of 5 years of banking experience and proven leadership with predominant experience of merchant's settlement and reconciliation of payment Gateway transactions, refunds, cash management, and nostro reconciliation.
  • Qualification: Minimum of graduation from a recognized University, Preferred choice will be from the accounting background (B.COM).
