Desktop Support Technician

Description
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and associated hardware.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to users via various communication channels.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
  • Monitor and ensure the optimal functioning of desktop systems.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades, as well as security patches.
  • Document hardware and software configurations, maintenance procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and support projects.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology developments and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills and experience with desktop hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Show excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure effectively.
  • Display good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Hold knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Prior experience in a desktop support role is highly desirable.
