Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting for the plant on a monthly basis.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to maintain accuracy and identify business trends.

• Support the sales team by providing monthly MIS reports and customer-wise sales analysis.

• Coordinate with the sales team to prepare sales budgets and forecasts.

• Conduct profitability calculations and prepare capital requests.

• Analyze price tracking sheets and discuss deviations with the sales head.

• Drive cost optimization and budget goal achievement to secure profit targets.

• Prepare and analyze budgets, highlighting gaps and discussing improvement plans.

• Review and finalize inventory valuation and accruals.

• Evaluate performance of new projects and ensure target achievement.

• Prepare cost tracking for project changes and provide expected price increases.

• Coordinate budgeting activities with various departments.

• Analyze actual performance vs. budget and ensure execution of MIS reports.

• Ensure reconciliation of expenses and reported KPIs, making necessary corrections.

• Submit reports to the central team with quality and accuracy.

• Prepare and analyze variations reports, supporting stakeholders in improvement plans.

• Manage teams, develop career plans, and provide training with competency matrices.

• Drive digitalization and automation for reports and records.

• Foster a 5S culture.

• Possess a deep understanding of P&L, B/S, and financial topics, with expertise in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of budgeting and planning, manufacturing process costing, and negotiation.

Qualifications

Candidate should be CWA qualified from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, with 10-15 years' experience, at least 5-6 years in the automobile industry, leading teams, and working with cross-functional teams in production, supply chain, quality, SAP, MIS, Excel, and Power BI.

Additional Information

Understanding business, including profit and loss, customer process know-how, strategic thinking, sales forecasting, negotiation skills, effective communication with customers, customer relationship management, escalation management, and knowledge of relevant industry standards, processes, and rules, as well as internal decision-making structures.
