Job Title: CAD Lead – Transmission Line

Department: Contract Administration

Location: Ahmedabad, India

Reports To: Senior CAD Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administration Department (CAD) lead to oversee and manage contracts for transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent contract administration skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract management policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align contract management with project needs.
  • Monitor adherence to contract requirements and escalate high-risk issues.
  • Negotiate and prepare non-fundable agreements (NFAs) for contract amendments and release change orders.
  • Manage contracts consistently throughout their lifecycle, including monitoring contractor performance and ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Evaluate contractor performance based on contractual understanding and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Act as a liaison between contractors/vendors and project teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the transmission line industry.
  • Excellent contract administration skills, including policy development, risk management, and negotiation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
