Job Title: CAD Lead – Transmission Line
Department: CAD
Location: Ahmedabad
Reporting To: CAD Head
Job Objective
To administer, oversee, and manage contracts post-award, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and facilitating material management and vendor coordination for transmission line projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Monitor adherence to contract and process requirements.
- Develop and standardize contract management policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Project Heads to align contract management with project needs.
- Oversee contract risk strategies and escalate high-risk issues.
- Monitor and resolve major disputes and claims.
- Provide audit data and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct monthly review meetings with contractors and ensure issue resolution.
- Negotiate and prepare NFAs for contract amendments and release change orders.
Operational Responsibilities
- Manage contracts consistently throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Act as a liaison between contractors/vendors and project teams.
- Evaluate contractor performance based on contractual understanding.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.
- Process running bills and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Manage Bank Guarantees (BGs).
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 8–12 years in Contract Management
